Cuffley Free Church (CFC) is a relatively young church. We trace our origins back to April 1937 when the original witness began through the enthusiasm and commitment of a few local families determined to provide an evangelical witness within Cuffley. We were formally constituted as a Church in June 1942.  Although we are affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Central Baptist Association and the Evangelical Alliance, our membership is drawn from many traditions, which is reflected in our open membership

We have seen many changes since those early days. In God’s grace the church has gone through a powerful and continuing transition. Contemporary worship and praise music; modern audio visual technology; and regular challenges to our people to respond in a practical way to God’s invitation to serve Him.  This is what worship is about at CFC

However, amid all the changes we continue to focus on God’s truth for his people as expressed in scriptures, and the refreshing and equipping power of His Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

Today, we are truly blessed as a family church. Young families are at the core of CFC. Beautiful babies are everywhere!  Young kids do a great job checking out the biscuits after worship! And teenagers; well – teenagers are teenagers, bless them! To see many of them come to faith before going off to college and university is one of the most exciting things about life at CFC. Then, as soon as they are gone, they seem to be back again!
